About Percy: Life as a Runaway and Hobo:
In 1894, two childhood friends flee together across the West to escape their troubled home life. Abused and shattered, they find solace in the kindness of strangers along the way. Their audacity and daring determination keeps them just days ahead of vengeful parents in hot pursuit. On their journey, they encounter the remnants of the Wild West who had outlived their worst enemies, among them, Wyatt Earp and Bat Masterson. In lonely boxcars, friendships form between the spirited youngsters and fellow hobos including one who would take the place of their missing fathers. Based on a true story, these two runaways come to find themselves at the mercy of the American dream.
