About Max Knight:
Max L. Knight graduated from Texas A&M University in 1973, receiving a Regular Army Commission. After twenty-four years service he retired in 1997. Max has since worked as Director, Internal Operations, RCI Technologies of San Antonio, and with the Department of Defense as an Independent Contractor. He lives in San Antonio with his wife, Janet “Gray”.
About Silver Taps and Palo Duro:
Silver Taps is a personal memoir written in memory of his father, a veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. It also pays homage to the tradition at Texas A&M University from which the book derives its title.
Palo Duro is historical fiction that tells the story of westward expansion and the Plains Indian wars in the Southwestern United States. The novel is a testimonial to the rugged individualism that made this country as well as ode to the western genre.
