Shawn Settle is a realistic fiction writer who writes contemporary and historical fiction for ages 15 and up, due to violence and sexual content. She spent most of her childhood in the coastal town of Wilmington, NC. Shawn has been writing since she was in third grade; and is currently an elementary teacher in San Antonio, Texas, teaching underprivileged children. She is an avid traveler and cross-stitcher. Her summers are spent traveling around the U.S. with her family with a goal of visiting all 50 states, which she accomplished on June 15, 2017. It's not uncommon for places she has visited to show up in her stories.
