About Susan Campbell:
Susan Maxwell Campbell grew up in Dallas and has degrees in French from the University of Colorado and Texas Tech University and in creative writing from the University of North Texas, where she received the University Writing Award for Graduate Poetry in 2006. Her work has appeared in Christian Century, English in Texas, North Texas Review, Ancient Paths, Snowy Egret, Borderlands, and other publications; her work has been nominated for a Pushcart award. Her book Anything You Ever Wanted to Know won the 2015 Poetry Society of Texas Eakins Book Award. She has written liturgy for worship services for two Presbyterian congregations. Susan serves as secretary of the Fort Worth Poetry Society and as a director on the board of the Poetry Society of Texas. She is retired from teaching in public schools and lives in Mansfield, Texas.
