Michelle spends most days wiping spills, finger painting and kissing boo-boos for her three handsome young boys. In another life, she poured her heart into a classroom full of 4th and 5th graders before turning her focus on her passion for raising kind and thoughtful gentlemen in her home, and spreading a message of goodness through her writing.
About Be: Be Unique. Be Courageous. Be Kind:
We always ask kids, "What do you want to BE when you grow up?" They always respond with "firefighter, astronaut, teacher, and doctor." And that's what we expect to hear from that question. But this book encourages kids to BE humble humans and just plain good people.
Be challenges kids to think bigger than a profession when asked, "what do you want to be?" The author encourages all kids to BE unique. BE accepting. BE courageous. Be kind to ALL. With simple wording and a profound message, "Be," allows children to see themselves within the pages, sparks engaging converstations around celebrating unique differences, and accepting and including all.
