Debi Cole was born in San Antonio, Texas, and is a sixth generation Texan. She attended Texas Lutheran University and graduated with a BA in Sociology with a minor in History. Enlisting in the Air Force, she served in Transportation at Randolph AFB in San Antonio, Osan Korea and Daharan Saudi Arabia, the latter during Desert Storm. After her military career Debi worked as a 911 Dispatcher for thirteen years before retiring. She also drove a public school bus for several years until her military disabilities sidelined her to final retirement. Raised on a farm, her lifelong experience with animals gives her a background which included dogs, horse and cattle. Debi has trained her own horses and dogs for both show and trail. She has been married to the same patient man for over forty years.
