A Rope of Luna: Book Launch Party for poet Lisha Garcia, featuring a reading by award-winning poet Natasha Saje
Join us for Lisha Adela Garcia’s book launch A Rope of Luna, which features a collection of ‘poignant and sweet’ poems, as described by Dr. Carmen Tafolla. Natasha Sajé will also read from her outstanding body of work.
“Poignant and sweet in its intimacy, this collection of poems immerses us in the raw wound of life as an immigrant child, as a daughter of a dying mother, as an estranged child of a faraway father, of a determined poet capturing the beauty of life in its ‘new botanical garden where I choose the order of petal and plant.’” -Dr. Carmen Tafolla, author of Curandera
