Inventing Madness is a fictional novel about the inventor Thomas Alva Edison, intertwined with true facts from his life. It describes his obsession with power and fame, his secret practice of obtaining the ideas of others and claiming them as his own, and his relationship with Nikola Tesla that had been, up until now, well hidden from the public eye. Their collaboration leads to an amazing invention, only now revealed, that will change the world.
Joyce G. Schwartz, M.D., is a native San Antonian. When she is not devising fictional murder plots, she works as a pathologist applying her detective skills towards the care of her patients.
