The Twig is offering both virtual and in person events. All in person author signing events will be held outside until further notice to facilitate social distancing. Please join us!

Joe Bax is a graduate of both the University of Houston and Texas A&M University and has authored several nonfiction articles. Joe received his bachelor's in American History and master's in Southern History with an emphasis on slavery and Reconstruction.

Prior to ranching, the Bax family resided in Houston, Texas, where Joe practiced law for twenty-five years. Joe and his wife now live in San Antonio.

About Meadowbrook: The Neighborhood That Made Me:

While observing the childhood of his grandsons, Joe G. Bax realized that his own childhood stood in stark contrast to theirs, and his childhood could never be repeated. Contemporary children, completely supervised and engulfed in technology, could never imagine a childhood of complete freedom, limited only by the boundaries of your imagination.
