Lauren Patrick is a wife and mom of three precious blue-eyed gifts from God. They reside in South Texas on a full working farm, where they grow corn, milo (grain sorghum), and cotton, as well as raise cattle and pigs. When she isn’t feeding the farm or chasing kids, she enjoys running a photography business out of their home. 10 years ago when her and farmer got married, she had no idea what the Lord had in store for them. Growing up in what she thought was the country, she was ready and willing to tackle the farming lifestyle. Little did she know she had grown up in the city compared to where they were now calling home. Lauren is a former English teacher, having graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA in English, and has always loved the art of writing. She started out with a blog, documenting this wonderful life on the farm for a few years, but this past year the Lord laid it heavy on her heart to take it a step further, and swiftly spread the word of the Lord (2 Thessalonians 3:1) by writing a children’s book with Biblical principles dazzled within the story. Lauren’s desire is to provide literature that shows children the truth from the Word of God in the context of everyday tasks on the farm, even though sometimes it can get pretty silly or tough.
