I’ve been a registered nurse for more than thirty years, but my first passion has always been writing. Growing up the youngest child of older parents I spent a lot of time entertaining myself. I discovered my love of writing through reading. I always wanted more. When I ran out of books I started writing my own. I have lived in San Antonio, Texas for twenty-five years and have adopted it as my own. I love the diversity of this city and its endless supply of ghosts which make it the perfect setting for the Olivia Osborne series. When I’m not writing I can be found with my family and any number of cats.
The Oliva Osborne Series:
Book 1: Seven Seconds – worldwide release: 10/23/2023
Olivia Osborne left the FBI to escape the monsters, but when her friend Sergeant Mark Austin calls, she can’t say no. She and Mark are bound by the loss of someone they both cared about. The monsters stole him. Now she is standing in a blood-soaked field sifting through the echoes of death all while the thin veil between this world and the other beckons her. “Come closer.” Olivia is torn between darkness and light. Life and death. Good and evil. There is nowhere she can run where the monsters won’t follow. With a bloodthirsty killer in their midst, Olivia is back in the hunt. This evil is a familiar one, and she knows it won’t stop until someone stops it. That someone is her.
Book 2: Fruit of the Poison Tree – worldwide release: 11/8/2023
Olivia Osborne is back. She has a demon to find, a past to uncover, and a future to plan. Dive back into the murky recesses of Olivia’s shadowy world as she searches for the truth about life and death, good and evil and the twilight in between. Gran warned against mixing the light with the dark--that magical place where the dark and the light swam together turned everything to grey. The Fruit of the Poison Tree bears it all. Olivia Osborne is many things: a sensitive, an empath, a reader of death. Is she also a demon dealer? Or is she something else?
Book 3: Visions – worldwide release: January 2024
After unleashing the magic of her ancestors, Olivia Osborne finds herself plagued by visions. She will need those new skills and more as she and Silas Branch are thrust back to the case they knew was never finished. Under the moss-covered trees of a small town in Florida exists an ancient evil that hungers for more. Following the death screams of a young girl, Olivia uncovers the secrets of a killer. Larry Wayne Pittman confessed his crimes, but he has one final request before he meets his fate. He has a message for Olivia Osborne that will change her life and unlock her own secrets. Olivia’s visions aren’t an evolution but a side-effect, and she cannot protect what she does not understand.
Olivia Osborne is a forensic psychologist and former FBI agent who is blessed (or cursed, depending on who you ask) with unique gifts. Olivia is able to sense what others cannot--the spiritual presence of those who have "crossed over," as well as the living who are influenced, or in some cases possessed, by evil.
The paranormal crime series featuring Dr. Olivia Osborne continues . . .
Dr. Olivia Osborne's insights are based on much more than her background in law enforcement and psychology. She sees what others cannot--the presence of those who have "crossed over," as well as a malevolent force with the power to influence the living.
